Visiting New Orleans this Weekend

Hey guys, me and the wife are going to be in New Orleans this Sunday for the Guns and Roses concert. Thinking about checking out Don Leoncio cigar bar on canal street since it's a few blocks away from were we are staying. Haven't had a cigar in years, but I figure it might be a place to kick back for a little bit while we are there. Anyone been there?

You should also check out the Cigar Factory on Decatur in the French Quarter, and Mayan Imports. Mayan imports has a location in the Quarter, on Magazine and in Metairie. I know the one on Magazine has a smoking area.

The prices at Don Leoncio are literally double any other b&m. I visited last March and was shocked at he prices. The Cigar Factory only has house made cigars and their prices are much better. I really like their Connecticut shade wrapped cigars. Have fun in NOLA!

The Tinder Box is just outside downtown in Metarie (they recently moved outside the mall). Good guys, great shop, very pipe oriented. Have fun! If you want to hear some music, a little outside the tourist spots, hit Frenchman Street.

Had a chace to stop by The Cigar Factory on Decatur. Cool place, I had to pick up a sampler. I know next to nothing about cigars, so I figured cant go wrong with trying several different ones.
