So I have fallen in love with Orlik Golden Sliced, and differently so with HH Old Dark Fired. Are there any blends that are a combination of these or am I forced to DIY it?

In other words DFK has been mercilessly stuffed, and stuffed, and stuffed into almost every blend made, whether it works or not.
403 punches well above its price tag.
Also if you are open to trying something a bit stouter with the perique than Orlik, maybe WCC #558.
also, maybe try some of the Gawith ropes. Not Va/Dfk exactly, but a mix of air cured and fire cured Virginias.

@Aomalley27 ’s suggestion of Amphora Kentucky is the closest I can think of to a combo of OGS and ODF.
Russ Ouellette of PC does a nice blend of Virginia, dark fired and perique called Fire Storm, that is done in masterful proportions that (to me) work. The Perique is low-key but present.
Solani 660: Silver Flake is exactly what you're looking for. It's a flake composed of virginias and DFK, nothing else. It's available only in a 110g tin and sells out quickly. Highly recommended.
Haven’t found anything i like more than ODF in this genre. Bold Kentucky, Lakeland Dark, Dark Bird’s Eye are all good blends but swap sweetness/woodyness for strength. Unfortunately Savinelli Doblone D’Oro is not sold in Europe so i can’t comment, but i love the VaPerKy combination. Hoped Jackknife Stack of Leaves would be it, but it’s sadly not.
Samuel Gawith Brown No.4 is tasty and very strong, possibly the best of the rest, for my tastes.
