Virginia and Aro in Same Pipe

Hey guys, I have a relatively small pipe rotation that I only smoke aromatics in. I've recently started smoking a few Virginias and have found that I really enjoy them. So far I've only dedicated one pipe to Virginias but have had the idea of still smoking aros out of it. What are your preferences as far as mixing Virginia and Aro in the same pipe. Do you do it or not and if not why?

I run aros through one of my VA pipes ever so infrequently, I maybe smoke 2 bowls of aro a week when the mood strikes. Key is to give it a good scrape after the aro or your next bowl of VA might pick up some odors. If the aro is really strong-flavored, like lets say Stokkebye Peaches and Cream, then the taste might stay for a few more bowls.

virginias and aros yes. aros and english definitely no.

I do not, nor have ever dedicated a pipe to a certain blend or type of baccy. Many on here do, and swear by it. Must be something to it.

I rarely smoke aros - don't like 'em much. When I do,it's in a cob or the one pipe I dedicate to aros.

I do maintain separate rotations for latakia/non-latakia blends.

I agree with the consensus of Virginias and aromatics in the same pipe not adversely effecting each other.
I never smoke English tobaccos in my aromatic-dedicated pipes because the latakia from English tobaccos can really ghost an aromatic pipe, but I sometimes enjoy blending an aromatic with an English, and I always smoke those in my English-dedicated pipes. The aromatics don't ghost an English-dedicated pipe like doing it in reverse. In fact, a lot of my English blends already have aromatic components in them, anyway.
Once in a blue moon I like to smoke a small bit of straight latakia, and I have one pipe set aside for just that, because straight lat can ruin the taste of even English-dedicated pipes for a few days.

I primarily smoke aromatics all I have are 2 MM Cobs so if there was any "cross contamination" I don't believe I'd be too upset. Though with that said I don't believe VAs and Aromatics are enemies. Just my .02

And I have a little pony that's dedicated to smoking straight Perique. That stuff will ghost other pipes so heavily that you'll never want to smoke from them again.
