A note about vintage lighters
: I found that buying vintage lighters is challenging. If the seller does not state it is a working lighter, it is most likely broken. Beyond that, 90% of the time lighters I purchase require a significant amount of servicing before they are ready for use. These lighters I am offering here are the best of the best. They have been serviced and every nook and cranny cleaned/polished.

1960s NEW OLD STOCK Ronson Premier w/ Original Packaging $99
In 1957, the first Ronson Varaflame pocket lighter was introduced. The Varaflame Premier model was the most well-known. This lighter was the first to combine gas refilling with flame adjustment. The model was inspired by the aerodynamic shapes of American cars at the time, and its design took on those lines, creating the iconic aerodynamic design that characterizes the lighter. The one being offered here was made in the early 1960s. It is NEW OLD STOCK. A bonafide time traveler. I serviced it to ensure it is in perfect working condition. I have not seen another NEW OLD STOCK Ronson Premier in perfect working condition. This one even has the original inspection sticker on the bottom. To say this is a rare opportunity is no exaggeration.

1962 Ronson Premier w/ Brown Leather Wrapping $59
See Ronson Premier description from the lighter above (first lighter posted)… This one is from my personal collection and has been meticulously maintained. I favor the weathered brown leather wrapping on this one. Just gorgeous. “2-14-62” is stamped on one of the ‘wings’. It was obviously a Valentine’s Day gift for one lucky guy in 1962. Super-cool!

1930s-40s AUTHENTIC Austrian IMCO Triplex Super 6700 $59
IMCO lighters originated in Austria in 1918 and were made popular during WWII developing a reputation for great reliability. The design is a semi automatic single action press button lighter with an aluminum oil tank and stainless steel body. The wick style lighter is refillable with any lighter fluid. Most IMCOs seen for sale today are replicas and many are Chinese made. This one is authentic and was manufactured in Austria 1930s-40s. Lowering the wind guard and exposing the air slots creates a more dynamic flame, suitable for pipe smoking (see last 2 photos).

1940s-50s Thoro-Lite Pipe Lighter $44
The mechanism design for these aluminum pipe lighters was patented in 1947 by Joseph Bonfield of Brooklyn, New York. Bonfield assigned his design to Wayne Industries, also of Brooklyn, who likely manufactured and distributed these lighters. This lighter is far more rare than it's contemporary, the Nimrod.

1930s-40s Weston “Ball-O-Flint” Trench Lighter $20
The ball at the top of these trench lighters may be removed to open an area enclosed with a cork where extra flints may be stored (4th photo). In terms of a wick for the flame, these have a "pocket" and the sparks fall into the pocket to ignite it - this pocket is the same as used on catalytic lighters such as the New Method and Ray-O-Lite. Alcohol (methanol) was probably the intended fuel for these lighters rather than 'petrol' lighter fluid. Weston describes it as, "Made with a special wick to create a torchlike arch of flame...".
