The NYC Department of Records released some interesting vintage, black & white pictures of the city. This one was on the list, showing a pipe store on 6th Ave & 40th street. Harry Browns?

I heard about the site with those photos yesterday.

The guy on the radio said there is supposed to be about 90,000 photos taken by NYC workers over many years.

Should be a cool site to surf.
