smoked a single bowl of sir walter of daneland. God damn, it was bad. Some moments were good, have a nice burley taste, then free basing vinegar. Bad stuff.
The odd thing is, the pipe i smoked it in, had been going sour rather quickly and easily. I mean, salt and alcohol down to bare wood in shank and bowl, and two smokes of briar fox later, one a day smokes. And the bowl would be tasting funky, and the shank would be sour too.
I had that smoke of sour walter. The bowl still got funky after a few smokes, but the shank was like, instantly brand new taste and smell even after 10 smokes in a row without doing anything but a q tip after the smoke.
Is vinegar the missing ingredient in shank cleaning?
