Viking Mouthpiece Removal

I was wondering if Viking mouthpiece can be removed. I just got my estate, and the grabow symbol is upside down. It seems to be stuck though. Is it supposed to be removable? Any suggestions for getting it to come out?

If you have the metal shanked Viking, yes they stem is removable. Try putting the shank /stem in the freezer. If that does not loosen it, try freezing again but put hot wet rag only on the metal to cause it to expand keeping the stem cool and contracted.
