Hi, I've been wondering as I grew up in the tail end of the 80's and lately have been noticing a trend on youtube where people upload old VHS tapes(grainy, warpy and all) of late 70's and 80's video's ranging from science to new age philosophy to music... Were there pipe related VHS tapes made in those years? Possibly pipe club annual tapes or anything like that? coverage of events? I figured I'd ask

Actually, in the 80's you still had enough Tinderboxes in malls across the country that it wasn't impossible to find information, nor someone to emulate when it came to pipes. So, you really didn't have to have as many videos explaining things.

Yes back when smoke shops tended to all things tobacco with some sense of balance. Now they are all cigar shops vape shops, or head shops.

I actually did find a cigar shop near me that has an entire wall of house blends. Not a whole lot else, but that will keep me busy.

those were the days. Even as a kid I loved to hang out in the humidor. Explains why I picked up my first pipe at 16. When all my friends were smoking cigarettes, I wanted a pipe.

Has anyone seen The Ultimate Pipe Video: The Sights and Sounds of Pipe Smoking from 1987? (I haven’t, but similarly curious, I’ve seen this title pop up and wondered if it was any good.)
