No, acrylic stems are deal breakers for me, I hate em'.

The finish on the Ardor is indeed interesting. However, It seems like a lot of money for a fancy finish which I would estimate took about an hour to do.

Have to admit, that's a pretty good looking pipe. I do question the use of blue for the stem. It seems to me an earth tone would look better. But, hey, each to his own taste said the old lady as she kissed the cow.

Acrylic stems are deal breakers for me. I can't stand how they feel on my teeth. It appears Italian carvers only make acrylic ones these days. Bummer.

Although the acrylic stems are really spectacular I prefer the more traditional black stem material...
