Vauen pipes

I was looking on a website recently and saw some Vauen pipes and some very interesting shapes they are a German make.Has anyone here had experience of them? ::

I have not personally, however, I have heard that vauen makes very good quality pipes.
I for one am in favor of supporting lesser known pipe makers...I have a Bob Davison pipe that has smoked great right from day one without any break in....I can only imagine what a few years will bring.

I have recently bought a Vauen as a gift to a very close person to me. I travel often to Germany and they're available everywhere and descent prices. Their finishing is high quality and they feel very comfortable to hold. Unfortunately I can also not comment on their smoking quality, but I hear it is very good from others.

I have a Vauen 4104 churchwarden with extra short stem smokes verry well, however it is designed for a filter but also comes with an adapter to eliminate the need for the filter. Try one you'll like it,
