Some of you may recall a few months back I described a pipe loading method that I named the Harry method after my friend at the Legion who showed it to me. Some wags re-named it the Harry Palm method. I embrace the altered name including the salacious connotation. Subsequently another writer included a link to a wonderful video that demonstrated what I had described as the Harry method. One common criticism of this method is that it was too messy. It was difficult to prevent bits of tobacco falling all over. Those readers more clever than I will of course have figured out the solution. Today I simply removed the plastic bag contained in my tin of Presbyterian and put that in my left hand. Using the original Harry method with the inverted pipe bowl in the bag there was no spillage at all. If the tin does not have a plastic bag, no worries, you can simply use the tin.
I am quite certain with this revolution in pipe packing, pipesters around the world will get perfect loading in mere seconds without losing valuable fragments. Carpets will no longer be littered with tobacco.
Yours truly,

a satirical hyperbolist
