I like both but honestly I find Flake Medallion to be the better of the two. In fact I should get a sleeve of that one when I can get the chance.

I have many VaPer too long to list. Here's a varied group to start with to see where you land. I enjoy VaPer and enjoy Perique in both mild and bold blends.

Welcome. If you like red VA, I recommend Sutliff 1849 for a good vaper, it has a nice proportion of it IMO.

The current Escudo is a mediocre changeling of the beloved original, so not a fan. Flake medalions is pretty decent, but there are others I like a whole lot better, like Sutliff Match Victorian, D&R Rimboche, HU Director's Cut, as well as others no longer in production. There are some C&D Va/Pers that are pretty popular, so you might look at those. About the only Va/Per flake that I really enjoy is McClelland 2015 and that one's been OOP for over 5 years.

I prefer Six Pence and Mad Fiddler. Escudo used to be my favorite, but it is just a shadow of itself since Christensen sold it to ScanTabak. In its day it was a magnificent tobacco.
