Title edited for caps and brevity. See Rule 9.

Hey Guys,
I have an opportunity to get some McClelland no. 2015 Va/Per.
It's in jars aged from years 2015, 2016 and 2017.
How much should I pay per ounce? Or, how much would you pay per ounce?
I want to offer a fair price, since I think he may be asking too much.
Thanks!

Bonus Question: Huge 5100 fan, does the Virginia in this blend have similar characteristics to the 5100?

I have many lbs of 2015. This thread is interesting. A big time high end collectible pipe eBay seller rob , coopersark who suffered a stroke and no longer is active in pipes told me that 2015 is the best tobacco in the world and if I wanted to cellar something (2016 time frame ) to load up . I did . Tobacco is so cheap relative to high end pipes

I've seen 8 ounces sell for $100 to $150. I think 2015 has 5100 in it but it won't remind you much of 5100. Quite a nice blend all on its own.
Thanks!
This is what I was looking for. So that's anywhere from $12.50-18.75 an ounce. He's asking more like $21 per ounce. And my comfort level was like the $15-16 per oz range.
It's hard for me to know what it's worth to me, because I have not had it, and sometimes my eyes are bigger than my stomach if you know what I mean.

You wouldn't sell a half lb or a lb for $15 per ounce would you? haha

So buy a couple of ounces. I don't think 2015 is worth it but I'm not a VaPer fanatic.

Im happy for and jealous of these folks who are sitting on large cellars of blends like 5100, 2015, No. 24, 27, etc. Id love to try some, but Ive still got a few more posts to make before I can post an add on tobacco swap and shop. I appreciate posts like this in the mean time.

If I want a McClellands VaPer, I just grab a tin of Guillotine Slices that was done with the Blakeney Process. I wasn't much of a fan of their bulk VaPers. But, you may not be able to find any tins of that left, because Brian Levine has bought up every last one in the world. Except for mine. puffy
Never had that one . I’m ok not trying it . I like 40th probably the best . 2010 and 2015 bulk were cheap , i think I remember around 50/lb seemed utterly reasonable to me at the time , bought em both
