Valentines Day. What Are You Getting Her/Him?

It's that time of year again gents. The upcoming "holiday" says I must pump up the romance and wine and dine her and shower her with gifts and flowers that she so deserves.
So I'll get her all her fav flowers (Gerber Daisies of assorted colors) a mountain of chocolates (that's my fav part because I always eat them no matter how many times she says, "HEY THOSE ARE MINE!".)
And for the gifts I'll most likely be getting her a tripod for her camera and a new charm or two for her charm bracelet.
On Christmas I got her a few charms and one of which is relevant to this forum. I told her I had to be represented on the bracelet too. So she wears it with pride.

What are you guys and gals getting your special someone? Going some place special?
Let's share some ideas because let's face it; some of you have been doing this for so long you might need some fresh ideas.

This valentines day I'll be 417 miles away from her. Won't even have enough to send her anything. And sadly our two year aniversary is a day after v-day. But just being able to skype her will be enough.

The lame flowers. A nice dinner. A pampering appointment for hair, manicure, and pedicure. Then dancing.

On a more serious note, because my wife is a quadriplegic she spends a lot of time homebound. Sometimes the best gift for us is to get out the house by ourselves to just do SOMETHING. Probably a nice dinner for us and a drive around the countryside.

Oh I forgot the best part for her(she is making put this on here by the way). An evening without me smoking my pipe while we do all the fun stuff I mention before.

She should expect no less.

When you ask her out logandow you have to have flowers with you to give to her. When she sees all the trouble you went through she'll panic and have to say yes! lol

Gotta be smooth about it too. Get a bouquet thats not too big but not too small. And not a heart shaped box of chocolates. Myabe a small rectangular sampler of chocolate.

she needs a watch, and since she has a fairly physical job, she needs a tough one. I have a couple of the standard G-shock watches, and love them.

I'm single for yet another Valentine's Day. So it's Singles Awareness Day for me. My motto: It's better to have a happy SAD than a good VD.
