In the semi-rural NorthEastern USA
I go lighter to darker or heavier with the flavor profile. Which means I might start with some thing heavy or dark and go deeper in that direction but rarely the other way round. It seems to make a difference that's subtle but worth following since it's easy to do and if you just have to have something lighter it's just not a big deal.

No virginia's here. Burley all day every day.
You do know that Carter Hall is a blend of burley and Virginias, right? Calling it a burley is like calling a Ranchero a truck. puffy

I do the same, start off with lighter blends and then build up to strong flavor and stronger nicotine throughout the day.

And calling Carter Hall "tobacco" only suitable for mowing lawns, is like calling my Jeep a car.....?

I don't string together multiple bowls in a day, usually, but I definitely find that varying genre and strength of blends makes each one taste better. If I just blasted away with full-strength blends, I'd burn out on taste, and if I just stuck with Virginia's and Va/Pers, I'd miss my burley and hearty English blends.

I usually increase strength as the day goes too, except here recently when I stopped using nasal snuff. I only used it for a couple weeks but holy cow did it grab ahold of me. It’s the first form of nicotine where I could use it and eat simultaneously, so I spent a week in my recliner alternating a snoot full of snuff and a handful of Halloween candy. I was a mess ?.

I chucked the snuff and started the days off with my strong stuff like Royal Yacht or a GH blend. I’m back to normal now, lighter to stronger.

I start with a stout English blend. Next bowl, a stout bowl with plenty of Latakia. Then a strong English blend. Then maybe a VaPer. In the evening, strong Lat blends.

No "bombs" by my definition. A bomb has to be over 60% Lat, such as Pirate Kake.

I understand this completely. I also only did it for a short time, but wow did I go absolutely nuts. Untill one day I threw it all away.

How did it make you feel different than other forms of nicotine? I had a go around with Snus once and it made me sick to my stomach, which made for an easy decision to never try it again.
