I managed to escape Texas for a week or so. I'm sitting in the Pocono mountains next to a lake with a full tin of escudo. I'm normally a lat bomb kinda guy. But after reading and learning a he'll of a lot here on the forums I packed a tin of escudo. A tin of lat flake , and a tin of seersucker. I had never tried it.
So here I sit , next to a beautiful lake nestled in the Pennsylvania mountains, campfire raging. A Bottle of knappogue 14 year old sitting next to me on a stump.. camp fire giving me fits cause everything is so wet, but full on embers with a flame burst every now and then. Chipmunks running to an fro. Playful without the arrogance of a Texas squirrel!
Anyway, I. Brought 2 pipes with me. Left me favs at home. As soon as I got here I fired up the macb lak flake in my sav bing, never really liked how this pipe fit. But chased it with escudo..
My first experience with ghosting. All I tasted was lat flake. Loaded the backup with it and I'm impressed. I honestly didn't think I would like it being a lat guy. Good flavor..
The seersucker not so much . Strange.

Reading here has helped so much with my piping. From retrohaling to. Breath smoking, still haven't mastered that)

That's quite a haul, but perfection once you're set up. I've been tempted by Seersucker, but now maybe not so much. I've heard all good about Escudo.

much like my campfire. From raging to embers in a swift second, and then back to flames. I truly love escudo. It has a base great taste. But you pick up hints now and then, or maybe it's the fire. Lol..
I'm gonna try seersucker again in the morning with a dog walk. Maybe the extra drying time will help.

Nice! Where at in the Poconos? We have a restaurant in Matamoras, at the edge, but I get to drive thru Stroudsburg and up, along the Delaware. Its truly beautiful. Enjoy your trip.

Sounds relaxing. Escudo for me is pipe dependent Some pipes ok. Some pipes it sings.
