Yesterday I purchased this wine cabinet to use to store my pipes and tobacco. The wine rack shelves (lower right) can be flipped over and used as flat shelves. There's a removable marble top exposing a matching wood top. There's a drawer that I store my Zippos, tampers and pipe cleaners. All I have to do is move my tobacco and some more pipes.

Great deal if you dont count the labor costs!

I assume it comes with the obligatory vague instructions from china?

really nice cabinet though.

Ive wondered...is there any use for pipe boxes other than to save them in case you sell the pipes or move? I just stack them in my closet.

I was surprised when I unpacked all of the cabinet parts. All of the different types of screws, bolts, fasteners were all in numbered plastic bags. The instructions were pretty detailed.

All of the Peterson boxes have pipes in them. I keep my pipes in their boxes. I put a pipe back in it's box when I'm done smoking it. I'm not an everyday all day smoker. Plus, I don't like the clutter of all of my pipes sitting out.

I need to find a better way to display my pipes. I will never put them back in boxes and I like to look at them. The ones with ebonite stems will ramain somewhere in subdued light.

@scloyd that looks promising. I'm hoping you'll post another picture once you get everything sorted. I'm interested in seeing how you accommodate tins, jars, etc.
Can't wait to see it when its full!
I don't have a huge cellar. I have plenty of room to store some of my favorite games. The games can always be moved back to my game shelf if I need more pipe and tobacco space.

The shelf on the right, half way down, holds 25 half pint size jars. I can also slide the shelves out to view the jars in back. The drawer holds my tampers, Zippos, matches etc.

The red toy bus is a 1959, my birth year. It's not an antique, it's a modern toy from Czech Republic.

I love having doors on my cabinet. So just dust and pet hair in my house. Atleast my pipes are safe! Lol sort of

It's perfect. Love it.
You'll have to post a picture one more time when the games get moved to make room for more tins. (And you know they will 🤣)
