Uptown's Smoke Shop

Currently sitting in Nashville, Tn at Uptown's Smoke Shop. I came up to help my buddy roof his house this Labor Day weekend. And of course planned to stop in and check out this shop and I'm glad I did. They have a great sitting area with nice leather chairs, the air is cranked up, and there is free wi-fi. They have a very nice selection of house blends, bulks, and tins as well as a great selection of pipes, definitely worht the stop. I'm trying to control myself, they have a wall of Neerups and a few caught my eye, but I'm trying to save my $$ for the Chattanooga pipe show. Did buy a sample of Honey Meade which I had heard was good, Celtic Rising which smells divine, and a tin of Sam Gawith Full Virginia Flake. If anyone is in the area, this is a sweet spot and I will definitely stop in again when I'm passing through.

I bought a GBD New Standard estate from them when I was in Nashville back in Feb. what a great shop! A true tobacconist. I went in every day for four days. Smoked samples,from the tobacco bar. Bought three pounds of tobacco and some tins from them also. If you are in Nashville, get there.

Yeah it is great, I don't really want to leave, I could sit in here all day. I enjoyed the Honey Meade, but the Celtic Rising is very very good. Just a hint of Latakia and maybe Irish Whiskey and very creamy which I love, I'm digging it. Very nice room note too. I might have to get a little more of this.

Next time I'm in the Music City I'll have to check it out! I'm also looking forward to the Chattanooga Pipe Show! I WAS scheduled to be off work that day, but the a$$holes changed my schedule! So I put in for a few hours vacation, I'll still have to work, but I should get there by 1:00. Hope to see you there, shaintiques! I'll be the one in the Green Bay hat.

If I'm not mistaken (and please call bullshit if I am), I had heard that Uptown has (or had?) exclusive distribution rights in the US for S. Bang pipes. If anyone knows, please edify us all.
