Well guys today was pretty danm rough. Pardon my language. Last night I apparently woke in the middle of the night with hallucinations and fell out of bed. But I'm trying to push through this. This is the hardest thing I've been through but I'll be danmed if this is gonna slow me down. Happy smoking gents and ladies!

Sleep is the best thing for ya. Need to lay down and recoup after something that stressful. You will be fine, but there is no doubt it will take some adjustment. Chill the f@#k out and rest for a minute. We're all pullin' for ya man. Can't wait to see which tobacco you smoke first from what, I can only imagine, will be a plethora of get well tobacco. Stay strong.

Every day will be a little better. The first day after my surgery I couldn't pee and I cussed every nurse and doctor until they cathed me, then made percocet induced friends with the ex-navy medic who stopped by to change my pee-bag in the middle of the night.

I just finished watching the Band of Brothers boxed set over Memorial Day. I've been keeping the tenacity and spirit of Easy Company in mind lately ...
