My only concern is in the middle of the day in the summer, the closet where I store my tobacco gets to 80 degrees.
Tinned tobacco is a completely different beast than say cigars which should be stirred with a little more care, then again the main reason for watching temp in cigars is so if they weren’t frozen little nasties can hatch and destroy many many sticks, even with cigars humidity to some point is keep it low enough it doesn’t mold and to where it smoked how you like, neons of those are issues with sealed tin tobacco.

I’ve exclusively smoked cigars for so long, so it’s good to know that unopened tins are less fussy to store than cigars.

I've got a measly cellar of around 6 pounds, and that trunk would be screaming to fill it up, haha.

Yep...I remember those days when I purchased my first two and wondered how on earth I was going to ever fill them. Fast forward to today and I've got a dozen in the basement stuffed full.

No shit, right? I have friends like that and I’ll say let’s sit outside it’s 85 in the shade but at least there is a breeze! My place is 70 and that works for me.
Yeah 80 is crazy, this is unheard of. Maybe he needs a lot of heat to dry out all the flakes, plugs and crumble cakes he has set out for the day.

I store my unopened cans (not the hockey puck style) in a cardboard box in a cabinet. This is also where I have mason jars of opened tins, either bulk or the hockey puck style (as these can pop open easily).
