Two Tins the Same But Different

I got a small package in the post today which included 2 tins of MacBaren Solent Mixture. I was after some of the elusive Syrian latakia which is supposedly in this particular blend. The label on the tin dated mar 2018 claims to have it but not so for the tin dated july 2018. Maybe thats the last of it or perhaps it ran out sometime ago and they just got around to printing new labels.

It's been a while since MB kinda announced that they had run out of Syrian latakia. They even renamed their Vintage Syrian to Vintage Latakia.

I’d guess that they either finally ran out, which IIRC was early- to mid-2018, or they knew they were close and wanted hedge their bets when ordering labels.
