Started off with some plain blocks screwed up one and these were the next two . Thanks guys ! Naw Cortez just mostly useless! LOL

WOW! those are beautiful with those skills why buy a pipe? Do you turn them on a lathe or grind them by hand? Those have really nice grain also were do you get your block?

Jship, I don't have my lathe set up to turn pipes , so these were shaped mainly with a sanding disk. I picked up the briar on ebay from a fellow in Germany. Have another bunch on the way. To all the rest who have been so kind . Again thanks. I guess working with wood since about 1965 has paid off fairly well with aq fair skill set.

Mason. PM me . I am about to start drilling the last block I have on hand and would make one like the little acorn for you if you want. I am breaking in the one in the photo as I type.

Very nice! I can't wait to get home and order me a block of briar, though whatever I end up with won't be anywhere near as beautiful as those.
