This is my second attempt at rusticating a pipe. This one turned pretty nice. It started out as a Medico with a smooth finish. The grain was pretty nonexistent with a few poorly disguised fills. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=4N7l8LD47_k

Here is another example of trash to treasure. I bought some wood blanks from Vermont Freehand recently. Since he knew I work in wood, he grabbed some pieces from his firewood pile and used it as filler for the package. I had someone else add my business logo to the piece of spalted maple. This will go on my table when I sell my woodturnings and tampers as shows.

Very nice @danielplainview, a before shot would've been a nice addition. That Medico looks like a more expensive pipe now, well done.
I also am into improving and upcycling. I posted this picture of my cable spool/Singer Sewing Machine table about a month ago.

I also make my own Halloween costumes, so all my clothing generally comes from eBay or the thrift store.

Nice! It looks like a great finish. Like sandblasted even.
@cmdr that is a fantastic table.
