This is the only carve'in I will be doing today...I think a nice lucite rose swirl bubble stem will be fitted on this one...stay tuned as I'm just get'in another cup-o-mud and will be cut'in the tenon on that stem asap :puffy:
Shoot over a PM if interested as it is still available at this time...

Very nice indeed. I am just curious as to how much your pipes sell for.

Thanks bogie, they start at $65. right now for small-med sized ones (also depends on grains, finish, size, etc.), not bad IMO for an all hand-made briar (no real bench tools as of yet, but I think 'ol Burley Claus might be bring'in some to me (lathe, band-saw, sander, drill-press, etc.)...shoot me a PM and get on the list if interested; again thanks to all the GREAT pipers out there I should be working well into the New Year :puffy:
@jship079- no dip'in on any of my pipes and @ 2.5oz it isn't really that heavy IMO

I did not mean to offend you if you see in my post I was asking for a price request! It just looked heavy and I did not know what 2.5oz would compare to in a normal pipe weight.

@jship079~No worries, not offended at all. I just wanted everyone to know that I don't dip any of my pipes
As for the weight, I think unless your really looking for a smaller/featherweight at 1oz or so then a med-sized pipe will range in weight from 1.6 and up. I try to balance weight with style/design and having a good wall of briar around the chamber.
You are right on look-to-weight sometimes...this Ardor below looks like a monster in image/hand but it's weight is only 2.3oz and to me has a really nice jaw-hang feel (sometimes I even forget I have it hang'in from my jaw...I really-really love Ardor pipes)
