My Grandson and I came in from his first Saturday night at the racetrack with grandpa and the guys. Grandma, and the girls had been thrifting. They found him a vintage Lionel train set and me a Tsuge Kaga, and they had fresh coffee for me, milk for WilliamScreenshot_2-2-2025_22929_www.ebay.com.jpegtsgue.jpg with German chocolate cake. They're taking care of us so well I'm afraid to ask what they bought themselves.

That looks like the train set I had when I was a kid. They were fun until those damn transformers included in the kit burnt out.

Good finds on their part! That looks like a nice pipe, and the train set is really cool. Do you know what scale it is? I use to have an "N" scale set back in the day.

The box says 027-gauge it appears to be Lionel's version of the Marx Diesel I had in the 70's. Took me most of the night to get set up and this morning he passed on biscuits and gravy to "play trains".

I have one Tsuge the Metal Blowfish. It's a weird pipe but it's great. The chamber size is basically the same as a kiseru. Fun thing is you can smoke it like one too. Ball up the tobacco smoke it clean it up and smoke it again right away. The thing is pretty amazingly near perfect for a pipe.
