On par with the castellos, but honestly I never gave it a total clean job as when I got it from Lonestar it was very clean, but I like to reserve judgement when I tell someone my best estimeation of the facts, the prices for these new is crazy, I would never pay that, estate yes, new no. The old cajun

I have seen their new prices and yes they are up there, totally out of my range. Maybe one day when I am done collecting American artisans I will look for an estate. He does make some gorgeous pipes.

I notice the stem is not pushed in all the way. I recall the tenon was pretty tight, but I thought I had buffed it a little to make a better fit. If it is still a bit too tight, send it back my way and I will be happy to tweak it a little more. It handt been smoked in some time when I cleaned it, sometimes the wood swells again when a pipe goes back in service.
