Based on some suggestions here I ordered several different tobaccos from Pipes and Cigars. One of them was Lane 1-Q and I must say that I enjoyed it way better than anything I have purchased from my local brick and mortar store. Still have several to try that I also ordered; Angler's Dream, Cornell & Diehl Autumn Evening, and John Cotton's Number 1. If the others produce the same results as the 1-Q, then I will be very pleased with them.

1Q is one of those that gets talked about in waves on here. It's been a while. Most people have tried it and didn't know it, because B&Ms will sometimes give it a "house name." I'm not sure about this exact moment, but usually it is the most sold pipe tobacco on the market.

Give Sutliff Z92 Vanilla Custard a shot. https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipe-tobacco/Sutliff/Z92-Vanilla-Custard/product_id/151168/bulk/

I wish they would still sell it in Tins since I find tinned tobacco more consistent than bulk samples, but this stuff has a decent resemblance to its namesake.

1Q is the best selling of Lane's blends, and among the top blends overall, especially since it is sold under many "house brand" names by Tinderbox and many others. It is a pleasing all-day blend, mild and pleasant-flavored. Smoked continuously, it can get a bit ordinary, but it is an old standard that will always be around.
