Good evening folks, I have searched for information on pouches on here but dont find much.
I travel a lot on a motorcycle and was wondering about pouch types, materials do they make some for Pipe and tobacco?
if you know of a discussion on this can you point me the way?
Thanks

First off, welcome to the forums, you've come to the right place to get information on pipes. Here is the case I use when I travel. I bought it from pipes and cigars on of the site sponsors

Thank you. That looks really nice
If you have tobacco in a bag from the shop do you leave it in the bag so it doesn't pickup a leather taste?

Super8mm, that's a great question. I also travel a fair bit on 2 wheels and have wondered what pouch others recommend. To those out there in the ether, pls note I am a big fan of bent pipes (ex: Peterson 301, 312, etc.) with a good bit of bend to the shape. A lot of the muti-pipe pouches look like they would not accomodate these big bend pipes. Any further input for Super8mm and myself? Thanx and happy puffin',
Dave

Thanks dochudson, looks like that has plenty of pockets to keep things in order.
is that made from nylon material instead of leather?

Welcome to the forum
I have the same traveling carrier as brdavidson. I own primarily bent pipes and they fit quite well
Most leather pouches have a lining specifically designed not to impart any odor at all. I use mine all of the time

I just took an old lunch sack that I never used and converted it into my pipe travel bag. It works really well. I can store several pipes in it and a variety of tobacco along with accessories.

I have a hard backed zip case that says it fits two pipes, but it is really just good for a pipe, pouch/baggie, tool and lighter. Perfect for a day out. $24 from 4 Noggins.

Thanks cmdrmcbragg, I was wonder about the hard ones. I ride a enduro and if I am off in some rough stuff it has been known to take a nap while I am trying to ride so a hard one may help portect my pipe? :D
