In Dublin for a while and already bought a Fox pipe. Traveling to Belfast tomorrow. Is there anything I should be sure to buy before I leave? Sail is my regular with Irish Flake as a treat occasionally.

Despite having a lifetime supply of Petersons of various shapes, designs, and price levels, I would definitely want to take home a Peterson pipe from the "mother church" in Dublin. I've had consistent luck with even the low end Petes with never a quality control clunker, so this wouldn't have to be hundreds of Euros. Sometimes the basic models are among the best in my experience, as long as it moves you.

Lift a Guiness to the Liffy for me, please. A pair of my late wife's earrings live there under the river floor.

Thanks everyone. I ended up with a Peterson 406 and a pouch of Condor (only available there, so they told me), as well as the JJ Fox Chacom Little

Had a few minutes of a smoke while walking the Howth coast trail but was defeated by the stiff breeze and my wooden matches

For anyone interested JJ Fox did not have a large selection of pipes. Just a small spinning stand that was not completely full. The store was about 75% whisky, 20% cigars, and 5% pipes

Peterson of course had a large selection of pipes that all seemed to be priced at either 130 or 215 Euro. Mostly on what I would call the larger end of the scale, and split between smooth and rustic
