Trafalgar Different Taste?

Hi All,

Has anyone noticed a change in Drucquer and Sons "Trafalgar?" I bought some over a year ago and remember it having more of a "tangy" or "acidic" note creating a bit more of a bite. I know this isn't correct, but to me it smelled a little more like vinegar and had more of a "bite." At the moment all I am getting is a lesser version of "Levant Mixture." Just wondering if anyone noticed anything different in a recently opened new tin. I'm using a Meerschaum that doesn't ghost much and my other blends all taste about right in it, so I don't think it's the pipe. I kind of miss that bite and am wondering if it's a fluke, just an off-batch or if they actually changed anything. Thanks!

Have not cracked a recent tin of Trafalgar but love both it and Levant. Will be interested to see what others have to say.

I hope that isn't the case I really love that blend. Maybe if I smoke it in a briar it will taste different. Have to brace myself for the worst lol.
