Tobakenist - The new thread is simply instructions on how to pass on your views on the subject to your Member of Parliament. Unless people raise a fuss then our MPs can't express our views on the matter.

I just went and read the thread, which I had not been following. If I was a mod - and three cheers for good mods,unappreciated fellows that they are - I would have closed it myself.

My apologies to all for not posting a final message about why the thread was being closed. I am new at this, and it was a late day (I'm a day sleeper) oversight on my part. Thanks for you're understanding.
