Hey guys, Well with the downfall of Sutliff uh decimating the blend choices one of my favorites got hit, Ready Rub Match. I am looking for a similar replacement for it as I do not want to burn through my back stock of it.

Blends I currently have:
Haunted Bookshop
Prince Albert
Carter Hall
Sir Walter

But none of them are remotely close to the Ready Rub Match or Edgeworth.
Any help is appreciated, I am hoping for a bulk blend but tin blends are fine.

Old Joe Krantz Blue is what you are looking for... unless you want them to be heavily cased like those OTCs. In that case, try C&Ds Winchester which reminds me a lot of OTCs. C&D has a few cased Virginia blends tht will remind you of those OTCs.
I have tried Old Joe Krantz brown and white label, I really did like the brown label and have a pound on its way, have yet to try the blue I will add it to the list. I think the biggest thing I liked about the Ready Rubbed match was simply it was a tobacco I could grab and load into any one of my pipes and it smoked like a dream. The flavors were simple yet enjoyable.
Smoking some C&d big N Burley right now and it's great. Can't go wrong with Cornell & diehl for unflavoured burley
I will have to give this one a try.

Appreciate the responses and I apologize for the late reply, the night I posted this I forgot I was headed out the next day for a fishing trip, which did net some nice walleye.

I’m a little bias, but hiking. Not bulk but good. Sadly discontinued. Might be a little around some places if you look.

I just want an option for something like Burley Morning Pipe by KBV when he stops making that blend. Light, smooth burley with a light chocolate/cream topping. It's one of the few burley blends I actually enjoy. I see that LJ Peretti's has a burley and chocolate blend...has anyone tried that one?

Basically what you are saying is that you are looking for a replacement for RR MATCH. Interestingly, when I was learning about the original Edgeworth RR last year, I recall reviewers saying that actually they found a few blends to be closer to the original Edgeworth RR than RR Match was. Part of the issue was that the Original Edgeworth RR used a cubed cut. I recall that one of the supposed closer blends was made by Peter Stokebye.

Personally, I liked Prince Albert the most of any blend on your list, even more than RR Match, but RR MATCH was a good blend that tried to be close to the original RR so it will be missed.
