Thank you. Perhaps I should post them there as well. The Virgin smoke will most likely be Haunted Bookshop for both. That blend has been my traditional first smoke for a pipe for about ten years now and has always worked like a charm.

Excellent choices. Can't go wrong with a Savinelli.
Thank you. I totally agree. I have well over a dozen Savinellis and regardless of whether they are upper or lower price range I have yet to have a single issue with one of them. Definitely one of my top brands, which is why I find them so hard to resist.

I'm leaning towards getting a 677 Roma Lucite. It keeps calling to me.

I know that call all too well! I occasionally try to resist, but that is a battle I rarely win. In retrospect, I am happy I don't win all that often. The 677 KS is a great shape. Can't go wrong with a Roma Lucite, great line, great shape. Happy hunting!
