Today's PAD: NOS eBay Kaywoodie

I've been looking for a nice Kaywoodie specimen, just to say I have one. Doubt I'll find nicer than NOS!
Still has the original $6.95 sticker on the bit in one of the photos.
Anyone with secret knowledge on dating these things, please share.

I've never had a Kaywoodie that smoked less than very good...nice score!

Late 1960s more or less.
There are far greater Kaywoodie experts here on the forum, but I can tell you that the Fine-Line wasn't priced at $6.95 until 1966 or later (the 1964/65 RTDA listed it at $5.95) and by the 1970/71 Kaywoodie catalog it was priced at $7.95. Thanks to the price sticker that gives you a pretty narrow range.
The copy for the Fine-Line highlighted the "centuries-old imported briar" (almost certainly a great exaggeration) and the "hand sculptured bowl" .

Well , maybe this will serve as my "birth year" pipe (1969) and I can stop looking at those old, expensive Dunhills!
Seems we've narrowed it to '66-'69, so far.

Just confirming what others have said, I have a dealer price list 1961 that doesn't include the fine line and one for 1963 that has it priced at $5.95.
