Do not attempt to ream a ceramic pipe... I bought this pipe off ebay. I went to very lightly ream the bowl and it shattered!! :crying: Not very happy about it.

Anyone got any recommendations for cleaning/restoring these?

I was thinking, if I ever get another one I will use sandpaper on the inside of the bowl. I was going super light with a Senior Pipe Reamer and POP! it was all over

Hence my recommendations, see above.
You mentioned using a reamer.... I don't think I'll get a reamer within 10ft. of one of these again

Oh man - that's too bad. That was a nice looking pipe. Anyway, appreciate the heads up if I ever own a meer.

Maybe try plugging the shank, and filling with alcohol, let sit for a while and see if it softens the cake enough to work out with a pipe cleaner or q-tip.. Haven't tried to clean a ceramic bowl before though..
