I'm a fan of GL Pease Westminster and have been smoking Sutliff 759 match a lot lately but it is discontinued. Not sure what brands are available to you. If you can get Gawith offerings Squadron Leader is a good one. All of these contain Latakia and have some degree of smoky character.

If you want smoky, then you should definitely try some blends with Latakia. They're not my cup of tea usually, but I do enjoy it from time to time.

Also blends with dark fired kentucky.
My favorite that is still in production and is readily available is Peterson Irish Flake. Very smokey and delicious.
Gawith and Hogarth Dark Birdseye is very good as well and is nice and smokey. Although I would warn you if you're not accustomed to heavy nicotine blends it can be on the strong side. If you're new to pipe smoking in general, I'd go with small bowls and after a meal. But it is very good.
