A lot of times, I find myself needing/wanting to leave a bag of tobacco in my truck for long periods of time or overnight. Sometimes, the temperature ranges could be in the 30-50 degrees in the winter and 90-105 in the summer. I did some quick research and saw where it is recommended to keep tobacco in temperatures of around 60-70 degrees.
Is this true? Will it hurt/dry out my tobacco if I leave it in cold or hot weather for long periods of time?

I leave a small amount in my car as well and it seems to do fine in the cold!

Cold seems to be fine. The hot summers here in NC really aren't kind to tobacco left in a car.

So cold is gold, but hot is not. Sounds like a good rule to follow. Thank you sirs!
