Bought 4 tobacco plants today and put em in the ground. $2.45 for four plants is a great buy.

They are called Nicotiana Starmaker Lime. Anyone know anything about drying or curing it for pipe tobacco? I think it will be interesting to play around with.

Hate to be a bearer of bad news, but if I can remember, I think those plants are more ornamental. I think my better half has planted them last year and as I can remember they only get about a foot high. I have grown tobacco in the past, from seed that I have boughten online specifically for pipe, cigar and cigarette use that have grown from 5 to 7 ft, with those big broad rollin type leaves.
