I'm starting with the Royal Yacht trying to find a good Virginia I was an English smoker before I took my break I have been smoking aromatics since I've started back trying to be more pleasant for the wife.

I concur, excellent TAD pickup there. Gold Rush is probably my favorite non-flake VA. Funny, my wife often prefers the English/Balkan room notes over that of the more artificial aromatics, though I don't smoke the latter very often anymore. No accounting for taste in this world...you just never know!

OK guys I need a little advice. How should I prepare this Royal Yacht before i pack the bowl? I know you can rub it in your hands but i seem to be turning it to a pretty fine shake. Help please. It has a lot of the ribbon stuck together and i know i cant pack the bowl like that.

You could try taking the pieces you can get out and trying to remove a sliver at a time. It takes considerably more time than rubbing it out, but it works for me.

Sounds like some drying time would be a good thing after spreading out.
