Wednesday March 20 is the first day of spring. Any suggestions on variations

in the tobacco you smoke related to the change in season? Brighter? Lighter?

What for a change of pace? I know most of us may take a while to make an

adjustment, but if you do, where will milder weather take you in your cache of

tobacco or at your tobacconist's counter?

I tend to smoke heavier baccy's in the summer, lighter in the winter. My winter smoking often involves manual labor, shoveling, breaking ice, cross country skiing, hunting, etc. I like to smoke lighter as I tend to accidentally inhale more as I'm huffing and puffin, pun intended. My summer outdoor activities are are much more relaxed, fishing, kayaking, hiking, etc for which I prefer a heavier, stronger smoke.

This will be my first spring smoking, I'm just excited to try all the new tins that I've gathered in the last week.

t think the kind of tobacco is really gonna be a factor , just the fact that I can enjoy one outside undisturbed is gonna make it taste nice .

This will be my first pipe smoking spring as well. I haven't acquired enough tobacco or tried enough to know which may be better for warmer weather as opposed to cold.
