Recent pipe for me is this Tinder Box Pipe marked: Tinder Box 'Noble'. I'm sure some will think that's one ugly pipe! I know several companies produced pipes for The Tinder Box including Charatan, Parker/Dunhill, Sasieni, GBD/Comoy, Butz-Choquin, and Armellini.
The following are the before and after I restored the pipe. I'm happy with it. I suppose you'd call it a poker shape? Not sure.

I think it looks great, to my eye the rustication resembles stitches, makes it look ruff 'n tumble, real character like cortzattic said, I'd reckon it has a nice tactile feel also, you did a good shine up onnit too, the after pics look much nicer!

rothnh I have but could not resist the great purchase price ;)
It fits the hand perfect plus very light weight. The bowl is a nice size and will make a good hour smoke easily. It was quick restore as it had not been smoked much. I did go with the salt cleaning method for 24 hours. The stem took the longest amount of time.
Probably going to be dedicated to Dunhill London Mixture.
