I've seen some rolls before and many of them never interested me, but that one actually does.
Does the tobacco tray snap into the roll somewhere, or does it just sit in it? Because that's about the only improvement I can think of on such a design, like it could be made to snap in on top of the accessories or something for more secure holding, or snap onto the outside as a spare pocket or carry handle maybe. I've yet to see a pipe roll with a tray do that, not saying one doesn't exist, just that I haven't seen one.

I see what you’re saying but no, the tobacco tray only slides into the pocket on the far right. The tobacco pouch slides into a similar pocket on the far left. The pipe stand unsnaps from itself and can be snapped into the middle of the roll.
The pipe roll made its debut last night at our pipe club meeting to lots of “OOOHs” and “AHHHs”. Our regular venue had to close unexpectedly last night so another shop graciously took us in for the evening. I shower my appreciation by buying a tin of Plum Pudding Reserve.
