I recently visited the Chatham House tobacco shop in Bermuda on a recommendation from Conde Naste Traveler magazine. They had a rack of pipes labeled Comoy's of London. I had done some research on the history of Comoy's and was a bit confused about the new pipes in the shop.
I purchased the pipe shown here for $40. The engraving is "Made in London" in a circle with "England" underneath. There is also a 2 and X with no other markings. The stem is vulcanite and has a stinger filter and it is 9mm.
I haven't found anything like it online, even searching all the pipes on the Cadogan gifts website. Any thoughts on what this pipe might be?
Thanks!
