Take a look at the picture below I stumbled upon whilst reading some reviews on the Amazon website. Then try to guess what the product was.

Clue: A consumer electrical item.

How many of you guessed it correctly? It was an optical cable! Probably the only thing not visible in the picture.

Some people....

Regards,

Jay.
That's Amazon. Type in a search and they will throw in all sorts of stuff that you didn't ask for. That's partly why I'm now avoiding shopping with them to the greatest extent possible. It's an annoying site.

Jesse, that wasn't an Amazon picture, it's a picture sent in by a customer to accompany his written review of the optical (Toslink) cable which I was looking into hence me stumbling upon it.

Well, in any case it provided the opportunity for a much needed Public Service Announcement. From the description it might just as well have been Amazon.

BTW, nice to see you back posting. Never, ever, let the bastards get you down.

oh so this is a guy trying to show off their life through a review. Still beats that guy that gave a restaurant a one star review that read "the food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was great, but I had a horrible time because I got dumped there". Can't believe any woman would want to let such a winner go.

I remember reading a one star review of Jack Daniels Single Barrel Rye.

The guy was bemoaning the fact that the date printed on the neck label was something like 14 months before the date that he bought the bottle, reckoning he had been conned into buying a super young whiskey..

The bonehead didn't realise that was the date the whiskey was bottled, not distilled .

Jay.
