I'm going to get a meer bowl in to do some r&d with it (make and smoke a new Trinity)

from there if it passes inspection I might start making them for others...
So now the overall design; what do you all think it should be?
Here is my design idea;

Since a white meer bowl insert I was thinking a tan or dark brown

cob bowl look (like the wax drip series main bowl color) with perhaps

a natural rusticated briar shank and maybe a white swirl lucite stem....

Sounds like the only way to go to me.
Any other combination I don't think would work very well.
Cob insert, or a cob shank would be odd.
A briar shank is the only way to go. If you made it the bowl then you'd have to have a meer insert and a cob shank? lol
Unless you can somehow find a way to make a kickass Meer&Birar shank with a cob bowl... Your first take is the way to go. Sounds super interesting.

I thought I saw a couple briar shanks in the latest series of pics on your other thread. So I agree with the others -It will look awesome. Nice job SD.

I'm also going to offer the design not as "The Trinity" but with

bamboo shank as well/it will be lighter this way

Looks like this project is going to be delayed until maybe the Fall, due to the size of cob (2" diam)

I would need in order to build this design correctly........we are all hoping the next

crops will be a golden ones ;-)

You should not be allowed to tell us what you are going to make, without first having a sample of it for our viewing. It is just cruel and nasty to make us wait in anticipation! hahahhahha, looking forward to seeing it mate.
