So I went out thrift store shopping with the wife today and she spotted a couple of pipe related goodies for me and I thought I would share a bit.
No alterations needed and I'm not sure that it is even a pipe rack but....

It holds my Mr. Brog scoot #52 perfectly as well as my 2 vikings 1 garden pipe and my favorite yello bole.
Up next again no idea what it is for but it sure holds my Radice bark very nicely.

For the last picture today it was a nic nac shelf but a 3/4 inch spade bit turned it into a hanging 18 pipe rack.

Oh yeah I almost forgot to add I got 2 new humidor/storage jars, being sterilized, and 1 more 18 pipe rack out on the work bench my grand total was $15.

I love thrift shopping! The thrill of the hunt!
I made a deal with my wife that we would browse the local thrift stores once every weekend just to see if anything pipe-related came in. She broke the trend last weekend because we were too busy throwing left hooks at one another lol
All is well now. Hopefully we can play catch up this weekend.
And I'm going to go ahead and say that the first pic probably was not intended for a pipe rack. But you made it work!
And I won't buy anything that isn't actual pipe stuff. Looks like you are using a fancy serving dish to hold one of your pipes? lol
Pipes: The best appetizer! :puffy:

Yup thrift stores are great. I found a small pre-republic peterson for $6 a few weeks ago. It needed some cleaning and polishing the silver band but it is a great keeper.
