Caught this Hummingbird moth visiting my sunflower patch, while having a pipe tonight out on the deck. Don't see them very often here, but they sure are neat little creatures and an added a little plus to the evenings smoke.

+1 to that ... that doesn't come easy, even with the digital cameras of today.

When i just take a quick look in the hive without my bee suit i like to bring my pipe instead of my smoker and it works just as good in my opinion. It keeps them nice and calm, and me too. they can smell fear, so dont be afraid.
