Romeowood, our own Mastertaster, has just completed his latest masterpiece with his reviews of the new re-released versions of Mel Feldman's "The Smoker" blends with side-by-side comparisons of some vintage tins of the originals.
When we posted the news that The Smoker Blends were coming back, John Seiler let us know that his friend Bill has some vintage tins. Romeowood and I picked them up at the Chicago show and started smoking away.
Check out this very interesting multi-review piece:

Thanks rothnh, glad your interests were piqued. There are 15 blends in total, and if you check out their descriptions at http://pipesandcigars.com/the-smoker-pipe-tobacco.html I'm sure you'll be able to find one in your preferred genre. They run the gamut of tastes, and are of the highest quality, which we've come to rely on from the Hearth & Home marque.

I got a tin of Black Noble when they first came out. I got something with a description of what I usually like. It's sitting on my next to be smoked shelf unfortunately I have a lot to get through before I make my way to it.
