The Run On Mac Baren Pipe Tobacco Seems To Have Eased

It seems that the panic buying may have paused a bit. Shortly after the infamous announcement that Mac B and Sutliff were on thin ice, we saw the usual panic buying set in and everything with those names vanished in short order. It took some searching among favorite sources, but I managed to buy a few tins of my favorites. I'm not one to hoard dozens of tins - just needed about 5 each of a few. It looks like there are sources for most of the favorite Mac Baren offerings, including the HH series. One may need to make a few orders to get a wide variety, but at least they are out there.
One thing I like to see is that most sources are limiting the number of tins that can be bought at one time, so as to give every Joe an opportunity to get their fix!

I'm glad I bought a few tins of a few tobacco's that I enjoy before they're gone for good. Not much, but enough for me to enjoy these blends for a little longer down the road.

I feel for the newer/younger guys just getting into pipes. Most of us old geezers have been hoarding like ground squirrels for years. Here in the U.S. many of us kicked our TAD into overdrive when the FDA was unleashed upon us 10 years or so ago.
