About two years ago, I bought a Savinelli Oscar prince shape pipe with a kind of bronze
yellow stem. It was about the most I'd spent on a pipe to that point, and it is a prize to
me. I'm intrigued by the shape because it is not a particularly large or deep bowl, but
is fairly wide for its size. I've enjoyed many a good smoke in it. Because the bowl is
broad for its depth, it can be a fairly short smoke, like 30 minutes, fine for a small pipe.
But I have the sense -- I love this pipe, I guess you can tell -- that this is perfect for
larger cut tobacco, hand rubbed, or whatever. Are there any out there who have found
a perfect match of tobacco to their prince shaped pipes? My tastes are wide ranging,
so I'm open to suggestions, and will pass along any I discover in the meantime.
